Basically you just key in these little boxes that fit into a larger map of your own influences. The tough part of this was differentiating between the things I just really like and what I actually consider to be an influence on the way I think about and approach my work. The sizes of each box should also be proportional to how influential the person or object is on you.

So there's a lot here. Really enjoyed sitting back and examining this.

That's the Unknown Soldier. That specific panel is from an old issue of Our Army at War featuring Sgt. Rock and the Unknown Soldier.

I see these influences clearly in your work. Props for citing young Bill Cosby as an influence. But no Milton Caniff? I thought it was him in the lower left corner... but that's Alex Toth.

I LOVE Milt Caniff's work, truly. But Toth's work is a more direct influence. With Caniff it's more that I just really look up to the guy and that he influenced Toth.
