Artist's Comments

Back from a week where I did nothing but the sort of thing you see here. Picked a character that's interested me lately and drew 3 or 4 head sketches and tried to fit a pose in there somewhere.

I realize that I don't draw Spidey, well, hardly ever, but I know some folks probably come looking for at least a few drawings of the guy. Can't put my finger on it, but I just haven't connected to the character since I was 10. Still one of the best costume designs ever though. Marcos Martin's work on him recently won me over as well, almost had me coming back to picking up a Spidey book.

Totally great, you totally nailed the costume, especially the eyes. Though I must point out you're missing the armpit webs and Pete's glasses. Come on, you gotta love the armpit webs.
ARMPIT WEBS ARE AH MUST!

And Marco's three issue run was bloody brill'. I can't wait for Paolo Rivera's issue coming up. It's giant-sized!
reminds me of the good old Ditko drawings, nice!

Awesome sketches, man, and diggin' the ink work! Great studies of the wall crawler!
AUGH ARMPIT WEBS WHAT HAVE I DONE?!

And double agreed on Rivera's stuff, I saw the cover with Punisher today, EXCITEMENT.

You Latino brothers and your armpit webs. That was a huge oversight on my part.

And yeah, I also like dweeb Pete...CRAP I gotta do another sheet of these now.
