The original Wildcat, Ted Grant, is awesome. Ever since he beat the entire Injustice Society by himself with two broken arms (in the TPB "Injustice Be Done") I've loved the guy.
I love your classic style. However, a friend pointed out that all his favorite characters now look like they live in a faded newspaper. I'm interested in your motivation to use such desaturated colours despite the original vibrancy.
Style is personal, at the end of the day - and if someone wants something a specific way, they can either pay for it, or go find someone who fits their bill more, huh?
