Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Commission Driven.

Alright, I've finished all 23 of the commissions.  that took much longer than I'd expected (and actually managed to get in the way of regular work, whoops), but I got some neat stuff out of it.  I should be sending them out today.

Unlike previous drives, I won't be posting the scans of your pieces until you let me know that you've received it in the mail.  That way you can be surprised when it gets there.  A few of you still need to pay me before I can send yours out, if that's you get a hold of me soon.  I also need addresses from some of you as well, so if you even think you may not have gotten it to me, note me with your address.  

EDIT: If you just can't wait and would prefer to see your piece, note me and tell me so.  I have them all scanned and ready to post, but will hold off unless asked otherwise.

I had a LOT of fun with these.  I don't get asked much for my favorite Silver Age characters, but I had three this time around.  On the back of each commish I've written a small phrase that has something to do with each character, so look out for that, I'll use it to identify each one when I post them.  

Thanks again guys.  It'll be a while before I do something as big as this again.  I'll still take commissions, but it's back to the regular rates and I won't be able to take on this many at one time.  I'm planning on doing a free give-out come Christmas, but it will be on a much smaller scale.  Take it easy.

I wanted to ask, did you make enough money off commishes to pay off your car and other expenses? I'd kinda hoped the other person's insurance would have covered the damages.

Well, we're actually still waiting to hear an estimate, but the insurance will supposedly cover the damages. I wouldn't see why not as none of it was our fault, and the other lady admitted to this. Regardless, this drive really helped make the grocery money.
