Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Great times, Thor, and Flash

Got back from Toronto about midnight last night, had a FANTASTIC time. Even though I was kept pretty busy the whole time, the show was relatively relaxed and very friendly. I spent pretty much the whole weekend drawing, even when I got back to our hotel room, which was exhausting but fun. I met a lot of great people; artists, you dA folks, and new faces alike. Thanks to those of you who came around and said hi.

Carla and I had a great time walking around Toronto, thanks in part to Francis

who showed us around. Meeting Agnes

and Todd

was really great too.

The prints sold better than I could have expected, but I've still got a few for those interested. If you're interested, I've got 10 of the Batman prints left, and plenty of the others. Write somehow or another and we'll figure it out for you if you'd like one. The Batman and Spider-Man prints are $20, and the Spirit print is $15. Flat rate of $7 shipping.

That said, you may have noticed that Thor Thursdays and Flash Fridays have been MIA lately. I've been traveling the last two weekends and I've got a couple deadlines at the end of the month. Clearly, I have to make actual work a priority, so for just a little while I'll have to take a break. I do plan on seeing Flash Fridays all the way to number 52, and will at least finish that Thor three-pager soon. Thanks for your patience everybody.
